is a dry needling technique based on the radiculopathy model. It uses neurophysiological principles to decrease pain and supersensitivity in nerves and to increase function via releasing tight banded shortened muscles.

Payment is due at time of service. We will provide you with a receipt to submit to your insurance for reimbursement.
Cancellation Policy: Late cancellations < 12 hours or No showing for your appointment will result in a fee of $40 that will be charged directly to you since insurers will not pay this fee. Please understand that this time has been reserved specially for you and other clients may be on the waitlist for your treatment time. If you are feeling unwell, please reschedule your appointment.
Referrals: You do NOT need a doctor’s referral to see a physiotherapist; however, you may need to have a Dr’s referral to have the treatment reimbursed by your insurance company. Insurance companies differ in their policies so please contact your insurance company to confirm.
1. A Dr's referral or specialist note if you have been given one (you do not need a doctors referral to see a physiotherapist)
2. A list of any relevant surgeries/procedures and their dates
3. A copy of any reports from imaging scans related the the injury being addressed
4. A current medication list and their dosages
5. A list of allergies for your physiotherapist to be aware of
6. If you are coming for an MVA assessment — please bring the details of your accident and insurance company information
Please bring clothing that you can move in to your physiotherapy appointment. Also the clothing should allow for access to the area you are being treated for — shorts or a tank-top/t-shirt depending on the area.
Please bring indoor shoes if you would like to wear shoes in the clinic as outdoor shoes need to be left at the front of the clinic. This helps to keep the clinic clean and prevents grit from getting in the mechanics of the mobilization tables — thank you for your cooperation.We do not see WCB injuries as we do not have a contract with WCB – Sorry for the inconvenience!
We do not have an AHS contract for the initial covered sessions post-surgery or post-fracture. We will however, treat post-surgical and post-fracture clients privately if they choose.
